From what i can remember there is not an app yet, you'd have to check your selfserve account from a computer because i dont think a mobile device can load it properly

Is there an app available to log in to our account available for Android?

This post has been brought to my attention by a friend of mine.
I have been creating a SelfServe app for Android for a while now. It is ready for release, I just need to fix a couple of bugs. I will put out the beta in the next 'few' weeks.
I will post back here when it is released, and probably post an annoucement in the main koodo forum.
As promised, I have released the app on the market place (https://market.android.com/details?i...u.kdoselfserve).
I will answer any questions you have.
Thank you.

Looks like a great app, but it seems to crash within a few minutes of logging in. That could possible have to do with me having two numbers on the account though. Which was another suggestion I was going to give you, would it be possible for you to support more than one phone number on an account?
Forced closed when trying to log in...

Works for me, a little slow to load but it works
NOTE: If you report an issue here, specify what function of the app (login, overview, usage, etc...) you were trying to access.
First, thanks all for the interest in the app.
If you encounter a crash, please click report and write in a short message so I can know exactly what went wrong.
In the market description there is a section for planned features. Multiple phones is one of them, unfortunately I don't have such an account so I can test this functionality.
This is the first crash I fixed after I released the app. Did you report the crash? I don't see it it my developer console.
This crash was fixed in an update. Please update the app and let me know, thanks :)
I have tested the app on my Nexus S, which is a little slow sometimes. I have also run it on a GSII and a Motorola Xoom tablet. The GSII loads the overview page very fast, the Xoom is a close second. EDIT - it turns out you use the GSII, it could be that it's slow the first time because nothing is cached -
Depending on how 'powerful' your device is, you will get a slightly different experience.
How do I know this is safe and secure if its not a KOODO application?

Apparently Koodo doesn't like the idea of having an android app.
I just received a phone call from someone that sounded 'legal'. I have removed the name 'Koodo' from the title and graphic.
The market description has been updated to enforce the fact that this app is unofficial.
I very much doubt that is satisfactory. I will arrange for other means of downloading the app.
During the phone call, I was given ******** reasons including 'security' (also see Lunarsoul's post).
Koodo also claims to be working on an official app (which didn't sound very convincing).
Basically, the only thing I got during the call was "pull it", "blah, pull it" and "pull it, blah".
It's one thing to ask me to pull the app because you have -proof it may be a security issue, it's another thing if you -claim- that it is a security issue.
Are you talking about the same Telus (the one with billions in revenue) that took years to release an app that -redirects- to their mobile website in a browser? I think you may just be asking for too much. Hopefully this app increases their pressure to actually make a useful one![]()
It seems the first call I received was just a precautionary measure as they had security concerns for their customers as to where the data might be getting shipped to or who else would have access to it.
I just posted an update here: http://goo.gl/2WuSF
