Some people here should hopefully be getting there devices today..I myself will be callin stores in my area to see if they stocked them up! Let's see some of you guys thoughts and what you think about the phone and let everyone else know how you first in line think of the device!

I Research My Answers
Metro also released their official LG Esteem launch press release through PR Newswire and it mentions the $100 MIR, with final price of $249. But it does NOT mention the MIR starts 10/1...It implies the MIR is available NOW. So, if you go by their OFFICIAL press release, the MIR is in effect now!
Since their official press release says it has a $100 MIR, then all the bloggers and writers are dutifully reporting that.LG Esteem will be available for $249 plus tax, after mail-in rebate, through January 1, 2012.

The LG Esteem can be ordered as of now at MetroPCS’ website. It costs $249 plus tax, after a $100 mail-in rebate.
All they are doing is just repeating what MetroPCS told them! So, obviously the decision to delay the MIR until 10/1 was NOT communicated to the public relations department!

I do NOT see any MIR on the metro website for the Esteem.
While I have a Indulge and it's ok the battery still blows.
I have been rooted since it came about and don't have any bloatware either.
So until someone posts about the Esteem and battery life I won't be getting one anytime soon.
Never the less, I don't see any MIR for $100 right now, @ 10:04AM 9/28/2011. Now maybe for those NOT in Miami they may get a different website but here, no.

I'm a dealer in Groton Connecticut and THE ESTEEM JUST CAME THROUGH THE DOOR ABOUT 20 MINS AGO!!! This thing is AWESOME. It has all the specs it promised. It also comes with a Metro PCS sim card, which I wasn't expecting. The flash is bright as hell, the picture is crisp, shoots amazing quality video, the ui is blazing fast and I think I just made a mess in my pants!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL! I haven't gotten a single thing done today at work - been calling around to all the local stores up to 50 miles away trying to track one down - will be calling again here shortly. MIR be damned - I just want a 4+" Android phone with decent specs that I can expect all my calls to come through on - this single-band business on the Moto Triumph is for the birds - got a real arse chewing this morning by a VP who tried calling me 3x on the way to work and the calls didn't come through.

I should have some in tomorrow, however i will use one personally till the mail in rebate comes in effect.
As i said at the beggining of the year this is the phone i liked the most in the road map. and so far seems to be the best specs wise available for a while

Omg well just to let everyone know! I go he phone! Its beautiful I'm so excited !I'm typing frm my indluge as she charges and I'm syncing my google acct and apps! Metro definitely stepped it up!

the revolution has gorilla glass...does the esteem? i cant see nothing on the box saying so...
also i thought it would come with 8gb internal but mine has 4gb with no sd card..
and can it get 3g signal?
