It is in the same location on my photon, I tried enabling it and then turning on airplane mode, Enabling wifi and making a call. Doesn't work.

I think it is voip settings left over from stock gingerbread.

I tried the airplane mode earlier....my 3VO wont even attempt make a call in Airplane mode it says Phone must be out of airplane mode....

i think its working My Parents basement is a black hole for all cell service...again sister reported she was able to make crystal clear calls....

Also remember Sprints feature sheet on the Epic Touch did say Wifi Calling.....I cant test myself because everywhere I go that has WIFI i have atleast 2 bars of Sprint Coverage more than enough for a clear call.....

I can also confirm this. It's for SIP telephony. It *should* be an option on the Nexus S, but if it's appearing on any other Sprint devices it's likely a firmware mistake.

The problem with your guys testing is that airplane mode kills ALL wireless connections. It is meant for airplanes, which do not allow any wireless communication.

Not if you enable airplane mode, but then turn wifi back on like I'm sure these guys did.
