Your account should remain active until the expiration date of your $80 card.

I currently have a very low account balance ($.03) on the standard plan, while also having an active PowerText add-on. Thus, I can't make or receive calls, but I can send/receive text messages. I applied an $80 pin awhile back, and thus have many months left before renewal is required.
My question is: How long will my account stay active in this scenario, and when it goes inactive, what will be the cause?
For the sake of this scenario, let's assume I will renew my PowerText plan on the day it expires by buying another card, but will add no additional funds to the account.
Your account should remain active until the expiration date of your $80 card.
No funds are needed as long as you keep power text plan renewed. Its like a monthly plan it keeps your expiration extended. But caution...power text cards are treated like cash if you put them on before your power text expires you could accidentally use the money for calling, data, etc then not have enough money on account to renew power text plan. Power text pins are not reserved for renewal only.
Thanks for the replies.
While browsing around on the Prepaid Comparison site (http://www.cellguru.net/prepaid_compare.htm), I noticed that he lists a $.50 monthly fee that is deducted on the 25th of the month.
I've never noticed this deduction myself, and never looked for it, but am wondering how that will affect my account if there aren't adequate funds to withdraw on the 25th?
The $0.50 monthly fee applies only if you ONLY have the standard plan. If you have any kind of recurring plan, the $0.50 monthly fee is not charged.

You're not ONLY on the Standard Plan; you're also on the recurring Power Text plan. Therefore, there shouldn't be a monthly $0.50 deduction.
That was asked and answered here once a long time ago...but I don't remember the answer!
It will *TRY* to deduct $0.50, but it can't and won't. Your account will still have $0.03 until the expiration date.
