It could be I just received a bad headset, I couldn't imagine a headset of this nature not having the feature as well. The Android app has the settings for it also but it doesn't support the HM7000 yet. Maybe when they update the app or come out with a IPhone version it will. I just stopped trying because I have several headsets that multipoint work as advertised. I actually gave the headset to a family member.

It will do multipoint. You have to pair it with the first phone, pair it with the second and then connect it to the first again. It will connect to incoming calls on either, however, it will only call out on the first paired device. It will not pair with Windows 7 64 bit (as most other bluetooth headsets).
I returned it and the Voyager HD and keeping the Q2.

I posted my review on amazon for this.. 3 weeks in, I still love the headset!!

It's been a long time since I've been happy with a bluetooth headset. In fact the I ended up going back to the wired boom (theboom.com) headset for a while. I really wanted something that allowed me to take calls and make the other person feel like i'm NOT on a bluetooth headset, or in the car, or outside, etc..

This so far has done the job. People say they I sound crystal clear. The volume is pretty good, although sometimes I wish it would be slightly higher. The fit is very comfortable, it comes with a bunch of different ear gels. I chose the clear large one and it stays in my ear comfortably.

Now the absolute favorite thing about this headset is the case. The charging case does a few things I really like. Normally if I put in a headset with a gel earpiece in my jean pocket, inevitably when I pull it out it grips the pocket and pulls the gel earpiece off the headset. Also, accidental pocket redialing happens alot in most headsets. Putting it in the case solves these problems, also, of course that it charges the headset 3 whole charges! Which means I can travel for several days without charging it separately. I actually haven't run it down completely yet but I'd think it'd last 2 weeks or so of heavy use should do ( 4hr talk time per charge). The case of course also just protects it from being crushed if I sit on it, drop it, etc.

Now the cons: Multipoint doesn't work I read the manual and for some reason even though it says it's multipoint capable, I can't get it to work which is a bummer since I want google voice on my computer and my cell to be used simultaneously. hopefully a firmware update will fix this.
The other one is it's way too easy to redial someone, which means I have pocket redialed a few times (which is why I always use the case now).

Buy this headset, you won't be disappointed.

    Hey Guys,

I just ordered the HM7000 to replace my Jawbone Era. I've been using an Avery earpiece on my Era. I was wondering if anyone knows if the Avery earpieces made for Jawbone earpieces will fit the HM7000?

I was actually pretty happy with the Era, but I just purchased a Galaxy Nexus and it won't discover my Era. It recognizes and pairs with other bluetooth devices (i.e.- BT module in my car), but for some reason not the Jawbone. I'm hoping my string of luck with BT devices will continue with the Sammy. Before the Era, I had the Plantronics Voyager Pro and loved it until the swivel arm broke. That was the main reason I didn't purchase a Voyager HD this time around. I also was intrigued by the Bose BT2, but I'm not sure if it is worth the price difference over the HM7000 based on reviews here and on the net.

I own both the HM7000 and the Bose BT2, the HM7000 has better noise cancellation, but the inbound sound quality of the Bose is a little better and the quality of the outbound voice in a mid to low noise level environment is also a little better. Also, I think the Bose is a bit more comfortable.

If I had to buy one or the other, I'd say it's a very close call. Most of the time, I'm not in a high noise place making calls, so I tend to use the Bose more (driving, in the office, etc...) but when I'm at airports, stores, or most public places the Samsung really is better (slightly better than the ERA, which I lost and replaced with the HM7000).

    Daygo718,

Don't know about the Avery earpieces specifically, but the head of the ERA is a few mm smaller than the Samsung. I have some old Jabra gel earpieces that fit both though, so it depends on how flexible the material is to stretch a bit.

Thanks Pluka! From reviews I've read, it does appear that the BT2 is a bit better overall than the HM7000. I just don't know if it is $63 better (bought mine from Amazon for $87). I do take calls in noisy environments at times so noise cancellation is important to me along with overall sound quality. I really liked the Era as well as, my old Voyager Pro so if the HM7000 is slightly better, I think I made a good choice. I should be receiving the earpiece today in the mail so we'll see if the Avery will fit. It does stretch a bit so I have my fingers crossed.

    I bought the HM7000 after seeing a coworkers. Here's a short review:

    The good:
Fits very well. It looks large in the pictures, but it is much smaller. I wore it for 4 hours straight and never once experienced ear fatigue. I used the standard ear bud with no hook and I never felt it was going to fall out or come loose.
Great audio. I went from a quiet room to standing 24" from a air purifier that roars and my wife said she couldn't tell a difference. Great noise cancelling and audio was clear on my end. I've read some reviews that people feel the audio could be a bit louder, but that seems to be a general complaint of mine with any BT device.
Stylish design It really looks sleek and professional
Carrying case By far the biggest deal for me. I hate pulling a bt from my pocket to find lint in the unit and the ear buds popping off. The case is a third of the size of a cigarette pack and a little thinner. Easily fits in the pocket. Bonus is the HM7000 won't get broken, stays clean and the case doubles as an extended battery. You charge the case and then when the battery is low on the HM7000, you pop it in the case and it will recharge the HM7000. Sammie says the case can charge the HM7000 2 to 3 times. Very nice for a traveler like myself.
Music Streaming I streamed iHeart radio for a few hours. Sound was nice and clear. Probably won't use this feature much, but it is nice to have if you like music in only one ear
Talking Lady in my BT There is some nice potential here. While not perfect (some words are humorous to hear in computer lady voice), reading back SMS is intelligible and effective. I only wish when she was announcing the caller phone number, it spoke it faster. By the time I hear the number, I have a mere ring or two left before it hits voicemail. Also, if she could read the Caller ID (as promised with FreeSync), I'd be much happier. I don't remember people's ph numbers any more.
If I lost it I'd buy another. It is that good. And the carrying case is a clever addition I love.

    The cons:
FreeSync I guess you get your money's worth since it is free. On my EVO, most of the cool features are disabled. Lame. It does read sms very well, but if I have it try to read my gmail, it force closes. Seems like Sammie released the HM7000 without really developing the app. To their defense, the Android market blurb does state FreeSync has limited support for the HM7000. HM3700 and others are fully supported. I hope Sammie gets an update out soon as there is real potential here.
Voice Commands So far I can get it to redial and power off. You hit the Voice Command button and speak. That is silly since the multifunction button does the same thing without having to then say the command. So that feature is useless at this point. I have to call in to Sammie as the guide doesn't list any of the voice commands, so I'm left guessing (and trying vainly) at what other commands are available.
Biggest complaint When the battery gets low, a nice lady comes on to tell you, "Battery is Low". Unfortunately while she's talking, you can't hear what the person on the other end is saying, they are cut out. And she keeps this up every 10 seconds or so. It would have preferred a simple beep beep that allows me to wrap up the conversation.

Bottomline Overall, I'm very pleased with the HM7000. It feels like it was rushed a bit to market, getting way ahead of the FreeSync app and including a manual that covers the mere basics. Nonetheless, if asked, I would recommend the HM7000, especially for road warriors that need a feature rich BT. And did I mention the carrying case??? It is clever, functional and puts the HM7000 at the top of my list.

Great review, Jamboaz! After the first couple days of owning this BT, I can say I agree with many of your opinions. I don't really use Freesync or voice commands often so those cons don't affect my daily usage. I am happy with both inbound and outbound call quality. I did a quick test to my office voicemail from my car with the radio blasting and although you could hear the background noise, you could still here what I was saying clearly. With the volume at a moderate level, I came in nice and clear with minimal background noise. It seems that Samsung took a page out of Plantronics playbook here as it appears both companies noise reduction works similarly. The best part is I was able to fit my Averysound earpiece from my Era on the HM7000. It took a little bit of stretching, but it fits nice and snug. I don't think I could use another BT without custom molded earpiece like the Avery.

Ordered! Cannot pass up trying for that price.
Air goes in and out. Blood goes round and round. Any deviation is a problem.

Good job, now you can tell us what you think!

I was going to get one, but Plantronics is going to offer a 55 (I think) soon (saw it in a blog). They said it was 50 bucks and has good QoS, but it didn't do what the higher priced units do. I does have an ear adapter and a hook, but the adapter was better fitting than the older generations.

Btw, I do now have a Samsung Note, don't know if that matters though.

Unboxed the HM700. It's charging up now (blinking red LED on the headset). The battery was flat out of the box.

First impression: The ear bit is a little long, making the whole thing stick out of my ear more than I'm used to. Kind of wished it had a slider on/off switch.

It's been about two hours so far... and the charging LED on the headset just keeps blinking red. All headsets I've had would have been able to power up by NOW. So far? Nothing. Dead!

I'll give it a few more hours. Otherwise, this thing may be DOA.
