Sticking with $30 TnT1200 + 200MB extra if needed = $50 assuming the overage is the same. I hardly use 300 minutes as is. Thanks.

Boooooooo! Why couldn't PP have just upped the data on the UTnT to 300MB, especially with the recent rash of plans from competing no-contract providers??
I guess Verizon really is THAT stingy with data.
I think one thing that I found out about this plan from another forum which REALLY SUCKS is the overage rate.
It's going to be 25 cents a meg. Apparently, there are going to be FOUR tiers of data prices for Page Plus.
99 cents a meg for paygo. 10 cents a meg for 29.95/TNT 1200 plan. 15 cents a meg for the Utnt original plan and
25 cents a meg for the "55".
Whoop de doo. They should just make it 10 cents a meg for all and be done with it, or even 15. Geez. Four tiers?
Meh.
It's all very strange considering VZW will sell data to an end user for about $0.01/MB ($10/GB) - 12GB goes for $100 with overage of $10/GB.
I would assume the PP wholesale rate would be well below that. Maybe a bad assumption. Sure PP has overhead, but 10-100 times the end-user price from VZW?

They should definitely lower paygo rate, it's way too high. Why should people who use the least amount of data pay the most??? It doesn't make any sense...
It does make sense. People who use data (or anything else) on PayGo plan (which I use too) don't bring constant "guaranteed" profit as opposed to people who are on monthly plans. I don't mind paying more than people on monthly plans but the price has to come down. At $1/MB I just don't use any data on 3G except 1-2 times a month a dollar or 2 worth in total. I would actually spend more if prices were reasonable.
On Verizon network?! That's a steal!
And 55 plan email should have been sent out to all dealers by now
We are pleased to announce that on October 25th we are launching our new “55” plan, which includes unlimited voice minutes, unlimited SMS/MMS messages and 300 MB of data for $55 per month. The data overage rate on this plan is $.25/MB. A graphic image of the hard card is attached.
There will be a limited number of 55 hard cards in the distribution channel beginning October 10th for testing purposes, but the official nationwide launch date is October 25th, at which time all dealers will have hard cards and PINs available from their Master Distributor.
We are very excited about this new plan. There has been an obvious consumer demand for a plan with more data than the current Page Plus offerings provide, and the initial reaction to the 55 has been extremely positive.

Home ISP, RR-Ultimate WiFi, $90/mo | Verizon 4G, $30/mo Unlimited
School, $5,000/semester | Work
Screw all of you saying you dont use minutes, elderly people only use minutes. They can take that 1000 extra txts they gave the $30 plan and another 1000 txt or 1500 and give us 800 more minutes for 2000 total minutes. We need more variety in plans.
Minutes plan: 2000 mins/500 txt/100 mb = $30
current 1200 plan = $30
Supposedly coming are more plans including $33 unlimited talk only, $21 500 min/500 sms/10 megs, $13 250 min/250 sms/10 megs and $40 500 min/1000 sms+/500 megs.
Whether it is true or not is another thing. If it isn't, move to rumor section please.
I don't think Verizon is going to be allowing mvnos to sel 2 cent a meg data anytime soon. Not when the other overage rates are much higher (standard plan is 99 cents, utnt is 15 cents, etc).
Even Sprint mvnos which have the cheapest rates for data can't do this. Only Boost cdma with its 50 cents a day unlimited plan might be the ticket but for low meg users, not so necessary.
