I have been trying to run an java app that is for my job on my new ascend. I love the phone but if I can't get this app to work I am going to have to downgrade. I know it is possible because in all my searching for a solution I can see many with java on android phones. I have done the google search and searched every forum google came up with. Here is what I have tried and what it does. My phone is not rooted. (that may make a difference but I did not see that it does)

Java/J2ME Runner tries to install from sd card but will not complete

JBeD Tries to install from sd card says "application did not install"

tried changing the jar and jde files to android files through the converter website. keeps giving me errors of various types. I even tried uploading to my webpage and then converting and no luck

tried "all file to all file converter 3000" it did not even support android

anyone have a rom with java enabled for tthis phone. I know it is not the app because it has run on every java enabled phone I have owned. Please if you can help I sure would appreicate it. I have wasted enough time tring to solve this.
