The 4 and 4S support the cellular band CDMA. There are many areas where verizons network is on the cellular band.

Yeah it is all 1900 in SE WI. Usually pretty good here with the exception of UW-Milwaukee

Sprint learning from their mistakes from the EVO 4G? That was a mess. Nobody's going to take a chance and not get one of these. I see a lot of people flocking to Best Buy on Friday if they can't lock something down online early in the morning.

I mistakenly ordered the iPhone 4 instead of the iPhone 4S. The customer service agent advised that I would need to await for my phone, return it, unopened, and not activated and I would receive the refund without the restocking fee of $35. What would others recommend to possibly receive the phone intended? I am unable to purchase one on Sprint.com as it indicates that I would be available for upgrade in 600+ days, and I don't have the options of my $150 credit.

Just so I don't have to further delay my wait for an iPhone 4S, would anyone recommend this:
Order the iPhone at the full price, then once I have returned my iPhone 4, allow Sprint to complete the return transaction and credit me appropriately.

The FCC test only tested on the regular cellular band and pcs band. No SMR and no G block PCS testing was done.

Sold out online.....

Sprint (S), has sold out of the $199 version of the iPhone 4s at its online store via pre-orders -- the $199 phone will be available at Sprint's brick-and-mortar stores on Friday, Oct. 14 -- and that only underscores the consumer demand and likely revenue tailwind from this phone addition to the company's offerings, and I'm obviously Reiterating my Buy call.
