Flashed Nexus S on VZW only getting 1XRTT data speeds any suggestions or solutions?

What I have is a Nexus S on Verizon. Everything is working data\mms\talk and text. I've tried chaning the prl many times to see if this fixes the data speed issue and its not. I'm just curious as if there was a setting in cdma workshop or qpst that I missed. Any suggestions would be greatly appriciated.

You will only get 1X data speeds because of the band that the radio uses is different for Sprint 3G than it is for VZW 3G. Verizon uses the 850 band for 3G and the 1900 band for 1x whereas Sprint uses 1900 PCS band for both.

I could be wrong and perhaps somebody knows a way to force 3G form Verizon over 1900, but I doubt it.
