Flashing to Page Plus - help activating?

Alright, thanks to the wonderful posts all over HoFo, I've managed to figure out how to flash my phone to PagePlus.

I'm only stuck on one final part..

When you flash, you are supposed to change the MIN and all that to what you received from Page Plus. How to do you get them to activate a phone with a bad esn or from a different carrier so you can access all that info? I know they charge on their website, but if I call will they activate any esn?

You cannot activate a phone with a bad ESN.

Thanks for the reply but you're already wrong. I've had an Evo activated before with a bad ESN. All you need is CDMA Workshop.

Changing an ESN with CDMA Workshop is illegal.

Fair enough. My feeling is that PagePlus would rather not activate phones with bad ESNs from non-Verizon carriers. So to tell Denny he is "wrong" is debatable.

Then I stand corrected. "Other carrier" being the key here - Page Plus cannot activate a phone with a bad VZW ESN.

Bad esn Verizon prepaid, postpaid , mvno and Alltel phones are all out.

They will activate it for free over the phone. I normally only use Sprint handsets with bad ESNs on PP since you can find new ones for next to nothing on eBay. I assume you already unlocked the handset so you can manually program it so just have the operator give you the MIN and MDN info and the SID for your area should be listed here: http://www.howardforums.com/showthre...RL-s-and-SID-s

You'll probably have to sideload the PRL if you haven't done a complete ROM flash

Did you guys manage to get 3g to work with evo? If so how? I am debating on Droid x or bad esn evo help lol. I like evo because of front facing camera.
