Those on AT&T and Verizon that switched may be disappointed trying the Sprint iPhone if they demand fast data.
Data speeds around here have been pretty slow lately.

I think you also have to count the flood gates that just opened named T-Mobile.....Sprint Verizon and AT&T are probably trying to drink as much of that gushing water as possible....T-mobile is gonna take a serious bath being the only carrier without the iPhone mark my words.
Plus I'm hearing Sprint is picking up a decent amount of disgruntled AT&T subs as well, Verizon is probably doing well in this department too.
I even said with Sprint and Verizon getting the iPhone this leaves the door open for them to gain back subs they lost to AT&T during its exclusivity.

Yea because all those years of sloooooowwwwww as hell data and dropped calls kept people away from AT&T.....even when Verizon released the iPhone and AT&T still was slow as sh*t and dropping calls..
Reailty Check....most of American's are not Speed Junkie Tech Geeks.....Price and Unlimited will get more of their attention.
Definitely agreed, people are ignorant, they may barely use a gig of data a month, but when they see the unlimited option vs the tiered of the other two, as well as the added data cost that isn't in the package, your average consumer doesn't care that they will have a faster network else where. They care that they will never (assumed) have to worry about overages. Couple that with the fact the data package is packaged into the plan, and not offered as an add on goes a long way. Sprint needs to foot the bill to push the fact they are the only one left with unlimited big time. Couple that with the fact they have the iphone now, and they have the potential to finally recover all those lost subs and then some. Plus when/if the att/tmo deal goes through, the bargain hunters using tmo will shift over to Sprint, since they are the best priced overall.
"This is gonna be tough, real tough, like tough plus more tough, times tough, to the power of tough" Chowder
Yep I agree.
People always worry about going over, especially if it happened in the past (minutes, text, data.. doesnt matter, its all super expensive)
Plus the earlier N&W minutes standard and anymobile is a nice offering (gee- AT&T gives it to all unlimited text subs now anyway, wonder why?)
I wish Sprint had ordered more iPhones from Apple to start off! So many people out there looking and can't find one! Sold out at all Sprint stores and Sprint online (with the exception of 64GB)
Home ISP, RR-Ultimate WiFi, $90/mo | Verizon 4G, $30/mo Unlimited
School, $5,000/semester | Work
It's great for sprint to get the iphone just what everyone wants...I did not have an upgrade and now screws because of getting rid of the gold status so I just have to wait it out...let everyone else work the bugs out...
Would you for once read (and digest the information) before you react.
I was pretty clear in that "those that demand fast data speeds may be disappointed". Sprint's voice network quality is perfect, its data network needs improvement which we know they are working on.
While we all use our phones in different places and for different applications, there is going to be that core group that wants speedier data.
Of course there are those that don't care, would never know the difference and think all you can eat is better.

I did read what you wrote, and its already pretty obvious the only ones who demand the "Those that demand fast data speeds" are the Speed junkie Tech geeks like I said and most of them are already aware that Sprint doesn't have the fastest iPhone since they hang around sites like this and pretty much can figure it out and aren't thinking about coming to Sprint until LTE gets rolled out....
fortunately for Sprint those people are nowhere near the majority or even a 3rd more like 5th of the country.
You have more people who are of the camp, "I dont care about top tier speed, as long as I'm not waiting all day for my pages to load".....and even with the noticable difference in speed between the 3 carriers with Sprint being the slowest guess what for the price and unlimited Sprint's speed was just fine for what most of Americans are looking for, and still is nowhere as bad as AT&T was 2 years ago.
Wow, were getting on the same page LOL.
AT&T seems to have ironed out the wrinkles, that was a while ago. People had to stay with AT&T if they wanted that iPhone, now there is a choice of 3. Many on AT&T are grandfathered with unlimited data and they have done a decent job of network upgrades from my experience. Even Verizon couldn't get people to leave. For what ever it's worth, I think AT&T will always be the iPhone king but it's good Sprint has it.
I would almost rather NOT have the data hogs sign up on Sprint if they are going to be streaming Youtube and Netflix all day.
Sprint promised certain Tour sales to RIM in exchange for launch date near Verizon's
