Is Siri and Speech recognition broken for anyone else?

Siri stopped working and so did voice recognition for me. I've tried rebooting.

This is all I get out of Siri now:

Interesting even though several reboots didn't work, going into Setting - General - Siri and Toggling on and off fixed the issue.

Hopefully this will help someone else should it arise.

I kept getting the error saying "Sorry, I am having trouble connecting to the network". Restarted it and it is working.

There are millions of new 4S owners flirting with Siri all at once. The chick is tired. She needs rest!
If you commonly type the name iPhone as "Iphone" or "I-Phone"... or if you commonly refer to an iPod Touch as an "iTouch" or "I-Touch"...... Then you deserve whole bottle of habanero hot sauce poured into your eyes!

Mine was like that also tonight. Rebooted a bunch of times (at least 8 times tonight) and tried flipping the toggle to Siri. Still getting the same errors as if the service is busy and not available.

I figure I'll try again this weekend after things calm down from the rush of 4S phones purchased today and with everyone using Siri.

    Exclamation SIRI problems hardware based?

I have 2 new 4s iPhones. when tested at the same time in the same place my whife's 4s SIRI works perfectly... almost always. My 4s phones SIRI almost never works.

Points to a hardware and NOT a server problem as suggested

Im sure the next ios update will fix most of the issues people are having. I would expect a minor ios update as fast as a week or two from now. This is the reason the jailbreak guys arent releasing anything right now. Apple always does it with a new ios release. Beta test the ios, the release it to the public for the final beta test and see what people are complaining about, then release a update to fix the problems.

Meh, could be software too. Were you both setup as brand new phones when you got them, or did one or both get restored from a backup?
