I agree. Us Cellular is too small for Apple.

Yeah, Apple likes to deal with carriers that have 20 Million+ subscribers, USCC misses that mark by a lot.

US Cell's home signal areas cover 89 million people vs sprints at 110 million. To keep sales rolling in it behooves apple to keep adding carriers and especially carriers with under utilized spectrum.

Here is a link to a regional carrier who for an instant posted a web page with i-phones for sale on prepaid plans.

I think within the next year when sprint digests its apple commitment you will find I-Phones popping up on most of the regional carrier systems. Apple is not going to be microsoft'd again ...

Frankly android with its gmail integration is just fine for me and now that I deleted the stock bloatware crap off my desire it runs so much better!

Well, they may cover that many, but their subscriber count is far below that as we both know I just don't see USCC's numbers as attracting Apple. VZW has almost tied USCC for coverage here in Northwestern California, and they get us goodies like EVDO and LTE far faster than USCC, I don't see their subscriber numbers ever being enough to get something like the iPhone.

I figure since Steve passed (God rest his soul and bless his family) Apple will move the iPhone to anyone and everyone that will have it. It was because of Steve that Apple became what it is now and without him there to continue moving Apple onwards and upwards the new powers that be will start putting the iPhone wherever will take it.

Well, get USCC to sign up about 10 million additional subscribers asap, and I think then there would be a good chance

I also would really like to see USCC get this. Beyond USCC testing and approving it, there really should be no reason why this could not happen. Like a previous poster said, it's more market penetration for Apple, and more customer satisfaction for USCC, so it would be a win for everyone.
