Which Boost phone: Transform Ultra vs. Prevail

I am having a hard time choosing the Transform Ultra and the Prevail, I heard the horrible stories of the Prevail
freezing up, poor photo quality, etc........and then I hear great things about it. Is it as bad as some people have made it out to be? Is the processor too slow to handle apps? Is froyo a limiting factor? This would be my first smart phone purchase, so I appreciate any opinions / insight. Thanks

The transform ultra is a better phone
-more storage. the prevail is very limited. The limited storage is perhaps the worst feature of the prevail.
-proximity sensor.
-gingerbread vs froyo
-front facing camera
-faster processor
-qwerty keyboard

It is the difference between a bare bones low end android and a mid-range android. I have used both phones.
