Ok so I switched. I was a big Android user and moved to iPhone. I like the battery life and the ability to make and take calls. My Epic was getting bad. Slow, the screen would lock up and I couldn't answer calls based on what power cord was plugged in (I had to keep that thing charged.)
So my questions. I have mobile hotspot purchased but am not sure how to turn it on in my phone. And then I also have Sprint Navigation on my plan as well....
The one thing I really miss from my Android phone is the Navigation.
Found the Mobile hotspot under the network settings.
From what I understand, Sprint Navigation is a Sprint widget/app they put on phones... Cept for the iPhone.
Screen is kinda small for navigation anyways
nah Screen isn't too small as long as it talks to you.
Mapquest has a decent navigation app that's free

Yes, but sprint nav is something I am paying for as part of my service isn't it? I thought that is what was offered when I signed up.
I expect that Sprint's iPhone plan is different. I still have my Sprint (original) HTC Touch (WinMo 6.1) on a family plan with the unlimited data plan on that one phone and it has the Sprint Nav (and Sprint TV, etc). I also had my ic902 on its own unlimited data plan with Nav (I was forced to put that phone on its own account/plan due to the Nextel component) and that is what I upgraded to the iPhone (they apparently wouldn't let me upgrade the Touch bought a mere 5 months after the ic902 back in 2007, to the iPhone). Well they have specific plans just for the iPhone which are not like those for the other phones - especially since Apple doesn't allow branded software outside of being an app from their store... And I assumed my old ic902 data plan went away with the upgrade to the iPhone plan. So it may be up in the air whether Sprint offers a branded Telenav for IOS, considering most of their phones are not Apple.
My Plan is the Sero 500. Didn't change still the same. I am hoping they are just stuck in the iTunes application process
There's no Sprint Store app like the other plans (where you would get their Telenav). But I expect they will probably get around to it eventually for Sprint app customization!![]()
No, I was saying I am hoping that they are working or have worked on getting it for the iPhone, but it is just stuck in the application process. Not a sprint app store.
