The leaks about this phone are few and far between. I could do with a more steady stream of info to distract me from my normal responsibilities. A little more than two years ago the OG Droid was having info leaked almost daily before launch. So far we're getting about one snippet a week.

Yea I am looking at the D4 as well, It was a hard discussion but I think Ill go with the Nexus

There will be Droid 5,6..ect, the next Nexus phone on VZW might be years before is comes again.
Nexus Screen > Droid 4 Screen
Full Google Experience, custom roms ..ect > Probably just root to very few roms on the D4
Newer CPU and GPU on the Nexus > Older CPU which is the same from the D3, the D4 is a D3 w/4g pretty much.

The Keyboard on the D4 is the only thing that is holding me to the D4, I have always wanted a keyboarded phone for years but keep jumping on the slates.

I am on a DroidX so the D4 or the Nexus will be much faster then my Dx. So the CPU differences do not really play a role too much. The "Google Experience" is a pretty big reason.

I feel kinda the same way. I have the OG droid and have wanted a droid with keyboard and 4g and front facing camera for a while so the D4 seems perfect. But the more I think about the pure google experience the more I want the Nexus.

The D4 will definately get ice cream sandwhich so that isnt really that big of a factor for me

although it doesn't really seem like a GNex-specific accessory, as it's universal and says it's for all phones that are charged via USB.

still, any GNex news is good news!

Rumors leaking today its been delayed until next month. Only info I have been privy too has been "end of Nov." all along, been told of no exact launch date yet.

I hope the December rumors are wrong. Unless of course there is some major bug(s) that needs to be fixed. I'd rather wait a little bit longer for a more polished device. But only a little bit longer....

Rumors are getting annoying as heck, and making people antsy. I bet VZW is /lawnchair /popcorn mode.

Hopefully since ICS got officially released they might say something about it, meh

I'm partially tempted to pick up a Razr to use until the Nexus comes out and take advantage of Verizon's holiday extended return policy. My biggest worry is that I'll mess up the Razr somehow and be stuck with it. That would be uncool (unless of course the Nexus sucks).

Kind of tough to watch at first.

Good, maybe all this "ZOMG its not Gorilla-branded glass" will stop now.

Not liking that the Google search bar stays on every page. I hope that can be turned off and that it's not burnt into ICS for all devices. I'd hate not being able to align my usual widgets at the top of the screen.

Yeah, I noticed that too on a few of the new Galaxy Nexus getting started videos that Google uploaded yesterday. The Google Search Bar Widget is static on the top of all the home screens. Hopefully it can be removed.
