The Samsung Galaxy Nexus has the problem of the signals after the update of latest version of Android Ice Cream Sandwich.
This is how I see it:
Better screen = Galaxy Nexus (I don't care about PenTile, I have both and the Gnex just looks better).
Better processor = SGS2 (exynos owns omap)
Better software = Nexus (faster updates, pure Android)
Better camera = SGS2 (8 MP vs 5 MP makes a clear difference from my tests)
In just about everything else I think the two devices are about the same, and by looking at the above, you can see they kind of even out in their differences as well. Both great phones, just matters what you advantages you prefer.
better processor on the SGS2 but the variants like the SGS2x for telus, Hercules for T-mobile,Wind,mobilicity are ompa and therefore that advantage diminishes for those who use the variations.
On the camera front the Gnex has 0 lag which is great and i honestly can not tell the differences between the pics i took with the Gnex or the SGS2.
