    i want to sell my boost powered evo how do i change the number for new owner?????????

    i have a evo powered by boost mobile
    i have the msdl /spc number
    i want to change phone number
    because i am selling it
    i just updated the plan so it is good for 27 more days
    i bought a 3d evo activated it on boost so the 4g is going to new home
    customer wants new number

    does any one know how to change it i am using stock rom meaning phone isn't rooted

    i have surfed the other threads didn't see what i was looking for if some one knows of a thread that states how please point me in right direction

    indeed since discussion of modifying devices aka ESN/MEID changes to be put onto a service,etc aren't allowed your best bet would be one of the android forums like XDA.

    Best I can offer is if there some sort of a CDMA service menu on Android like other devices you can edit out number. believe its MDN if memory serves me right. You use your MSL code to get into the CDMA Service menu.

    ^ Speeds under perfect tower(average is 300-800k).

    Oh I was thinking you just wanted to clear or change the number to a dummy number so you could sell it. Didn't realize you were interested in keeping it on its own Boost account for a buyer assuming for them to use later on boost. That would involve a little more then just a settings change on the device
