Hey All,

I have an old Ericsson CH388. I'm positive I have the right unlock code. When I put it in, the phone says "NETWORK UNLOCKED" but then goes back to "Insert correct card." Then when I try to put the code in again, the option I get on the unlock menu is "Lock to network" as if it is unlocked. When I put the code in at this screen it says "Not allowed." I think the phone is confused. This should be working fine. Does anyone have a workaround or ANY ideas?

I've tried multiple times putting in an old Cingular card that actually works in it, locking it to that network, then putting in my AT&T card and unlocking with no success. I don't know what else to do but if anyone knows any reset codes or anything I am willing to try any ideas.
