Spring cleaning? No one said you need to go through 300 pages, post #1 has everything people need! If they choose to go through hundreds of pages because they thing there might be something useful there then thats their problem.

Wow dude, calm down, I'm not attacking you. I'm saying it would be useful to update the OP, and I know you can't edit it, I know this. Thats why I proposed a Wiki, where it can be updated as needed by the community.
Also, re-creating those 2 threads would be helpful so people don't need to go through 300 pages to find an answer. Sometimes you need to do a little spring cleaning.
Leave your ego elsewhere! (No but seriously, your reply was unnecessarily harsh and overly protective)

Thanks so much for this information. I've looked high and low for days on end to little avail. You laid it out clearly and simply. Worked first try!

Hey Landoftherich
Thank you for those instructions. I don't have a Symbian Belle OS on my phone because its a Nokia 5800 which I have firmware on it that makes it look like Symbian Anna. I think Network Destinations is the same on every Nokia phone isn't it?
landoftherich, I to Thank You for the step-by-step programing for the N8 Belle, would never have figured it out otherwise.
Worked perfect an got it up an running on the 1st try. I can't understand why others would give you Grief over offering help to others requesting info..
Thanks again for taking the time, Nokia owners like myself do appreciate it.
Landof therich, thanks soo much for your very helpul posts (ignore the clown giving you a hassle, he has done it in other threads as well)
I have internet working, but CANNOT get MMS to work. I have a Nokia E6 upgraded to Symbian Belle. I follwed you instructions to the letter and MMS just wont work. ANY help would be very much appreciated
Grazie
Hi, I got the Sony Ericsson Satio whitch runns on Nokia Symbian Series 60, 5th edition(example n97) OS. Originaly I purchased the Nokia E71 and when I used the SIM card on SE Satio I can only call and text, no 3G. I updated to the latest system software and all the settings for 3G etc. are missing. The "download settings" fails, it tells me it could not download and to contact the service provider. This SE/Nokia OS is verry tuff to navigate and any help would be appreciated. Thx in advance.
Is there something for my SE Satio that is running older symbian OS?
worked perfectly.
Thanks for the tips.
Thanks Landoftherich for that walk through. I have an N8, and was having problems with MMS. The field names are much different than Android and iPhone, and since I wanted a phone and not a toy, I chose the N8 and now have MMS! Thanks a bunch!
PS. The 12MP camera rocks....
Thank you so much for posting this!!!! I never would have figured out how to do this otherwise - I had been puzzling over the Straight Talk given settings and very different setup in Symbian for a while and had almost given up. Your directions worked great the first time and were very easy to understand.![]()
I'm new to all this and a bit wary of moving up to Belle on my N8. I've seen a lot of people post problems and complaints after installing Belle. I'm using ST with Anna and all works but MMS. I can't delete the previous access points. Is the procedure a bit different with Anna and if so, can you explain it to this dummy? Thank You.
