    Overdrive Pro

Can I get an Overdrive Pro to work with Clear service? I just cancelled Sprint because they no longer allow unlimited 4G and I enjoyed the service.
    T-Mobile Nexus 4 - personal
Verizon Blackberry Bold 9930 - work

I just went to Sprint and started the order process on an overdrive pro and it still shows 4G as unlimited. The 3G is limited.

The only unlimited data that sprint took away was the hotspot on phone feature which they now limit to 5GB. Bad move on their part, especially not grandfathering people in, but unless I'm missing something 4g is still unlimited for data cards.

As to the original question, you'd have to get a clearwire modem or hotspot.

corrupt81, the plan does affect any broadband plan including the Overdrive Pro. You're still seeing unlimited when you sign up because the change doesn't take affect until November 1st. Here is the actual Sprint press release about the change.

I called to cancel my service which I've only had for 3 months and they did let me cancel without an ETF charge.

So, go with Sprint and you can get a 4G+ Overdrive Pro, but you're limited to 5 GB total data between both 3G & 4G, OR you can go to Clear directly and get totally unlimited 4G, but they have NO 4G+ Clear Spots AT ALL any more! That is lamer than lame!

Will Clear activate one off of Craigslist/ebay? otherwise it appears Comcast/Xfinity is the last option but the cheapest($40).
    Sprint: $40.99 - $73.00 per month

That's a very good question, and one I can't answer. I've never tried that. I've been with Clear for about a year now, and I'm using the Sierra Wireless U250 4G+ USB Modem because even though I live in the area that was the VERY FIRST market launched with WiMax 4G (under the now-defunct XOHM brand name) there are still many, many holes in the coverage in my area.

For my Wi-Fi needs, I simply use a Cradlepoint CTR35 Wireless N Mobile Router to create my "personal hotspot" & I'm good to go. I'm aware that the Clearspot may have a better antenna for better reception, but I just finally ordered the external 4-Band Blade Antenna to fix that problem. And I don't get charged more per month for using a Clearspot instead of a USB modem! ;-)

xfinity isn't an option because there's no service in new York.
