TouchPad Problem - Browser Bookmarks go missing and Email fails to update

I have an itermittent problem on my TouchPad where the my bookmarks in the browser disappear. If I click on the bookmark icon, the bookmark section appears to the right, but it is blank. It also seems to coincide with the email app failing to update. I have found a reboot will set everything right again.

I have a 32GB version and updated to the latest OS version and have experienced the problem before and after the update.

Anyone else have this problem? Is there an "App/Service Killer" app available? Somehow I have the feeling that it happens after watching some Flash videos.

first, look in preware for a patch that adresses the missing bookmarks issue and fixes it fine.

second, I had email problem like that after OTA update. Remove all email accounts and re-enter them and it fixed it fine. Do a restart after you re-enter (device info / restart)...

I have never read of any viri on webOS ...if your thing is not working you just go on the hp/palm website and enter your account and run the webOS DOCTOR which will remove everything on your machine and reinstall the webOS to factory specs and then over a short time once you log into your account on the touchpad it will reinstall every app you had paid or free from the web store ...for preware patches&apps you must do that manually unless you have backed that up too but it is not that difficult ...if you sync'd to somewhere like google contacts & calendar that will be restored too all without doing anything but following the directions... your machine will work just like new... http://ws.hpwebos.com/webosdoctor/hp...berinitial.htm
