thank you!!!
that is what was confusing me - i knew i had done it before but it was indeed a phone call. this was a text message from someone about how to get lower mortgage rates!!!and i could not see anything to do to block them from repeated messages!
Reply to the text with just the word STOP They are required by law to respect the STOP reply. If they don't report them to NET10 and the FCC
My site: PrepaidPhoneNews.com My other sites: wapreview.com, boostapps.com
Unless they give a phone number with their text message ... I don't think there is anything that can be done other than deleting the message without opening it.
Any text message without an ID is either an ad or something not very nice... so why waste money opening it... trash is the way to go.

yea you're right! i was going through my messages and just clicked that one open too quickly. i usually delete anything i don't know the number for - just like messages on my computer!
Thanks for the STOP comment, I've done it with all the repetitive bill collector numbers, and some have seemed to stop.
It's the local numbers that won't, now, it sends back an error message that claims I've dialed a nonexistent number. Dial direct, and you get the robo operator who can't find a live operator, and hangs up. Then it dials back again in 30 minutes.
I'll get a live one someday, in the meantime, it's Auto Reject.
