LOL I know what the term Google means. It is just the way it was used

Nobody can say what isn't known yet, but I don't think they are lying. They are part of the biggest VOIP/data network there is! Google Bandwidth.com
It looked like they were saying They are part of the biggest VOIP network there is and then naming "Google Bandwidth.com" as the Company. As if Bandwidth.com were a division of Google.
Not that he was instructing us to do a Google search for Bandwidth.com.

OK, lets call it a Freudian slip! I feel better and hope you do too. Google as a Telco would be a game changer, something both Telcos and Google itself would be scared of.

"Google me", would take on a new meaning!

Off topic: I'd love to see Google buy T-Mobile and get it out of the potentially dangerous hands of At&t. Back on topic: Google has been known to purchase startups that have been successful. Look at Grand Central which is now Google Voice as an example. If Google bought T-Mobile and then Republic and merged the two as one low cost wi-fi, cellular carrier! Woa! That would be a sweet combo. I really could see that happening one day.

They would have to rework the current phones from CDMA to GSM but it would be cool. Republic would cease being a MVNO and be its own entity as a new cellular provider.
If it had a stock of phones under the new system comparable to what they have now for normal phone service I think they could put a dent in the market in mid to low end phones and even some hi end.
Could you picture, the hybrid service made from two different companies/hybrid company, providing really cool double and quad core phones with unlimited monthly fees of 25 to 30 dollars.
Something like that would make me wish I had held on to my Google stock.

T-Mobile already has the wifi calling technology, and with a large, relatively unloaded network, they have no reason to capacity offload. They are just using it for improved coverage and international roaming on wifi. I want to see Wal-Mart by up T-Mobile if AT&T can't myself. It makes perfect sense.
I usually support government regulation, but It is unfortunate that the government over-regulated and killed the AT&T/ T-Mobile Merger
The best explanation of the pricing nutiness in the industry.
Why Sprint and T-Mo will always suck.
The only way to end the pricing insanity is to eliminate contracts and subsidies.
I want Wifi calling on AT&T.
If you text while driving, you're an idiot. End of story.

If we don't watch it we'll see Google tel and Microsoft Tel! Microsoft now owns Skype and there is about to be a boat load of Lte to go on sale via LightSquared and another one, but the name escapes me at the moment.

Buggy whips (carriers) go home, shove those insane text and data, charges up your ***!

Verizon and AT&T aren't going anywhere anytime soon, as much as we all might want them to. Even if this wholesale LTE thing comes to fruition, they aren't going to have the tower locations that AT&T Mobility and Cellco do right off the bat. Those two have spent decades getting good cell sites, DAS'es, roaming agreements, etc etc. At best, within 5 years, these wholesalers would look like T-Mobile or Sprint does today- nothing to write home about.
