Does anyone sell a right angle micro USB male to female dongle?
The charging port on the top of this thing makes it so awkward in a dash mounted car dock its ridiculous. Might sound silly but its a deal breaker for me. My car charger would be stretched so that the cable would be stressing the Jack immensely. Not to mention the cable sticking up, further obstructing my view.
Dumb decision for any manufacturer to put it there I think.
I think anyone who docks in their car knows exactly what I'm saying.

Thanks for the clarification. I wouldn't just assume it's the same on prepaid, seeing as there is no add-on for prepaid to sell you, and while one might assume that people posting on this forum are talking about prepaid, that's what I had assumed of you as well, and it turns ut not to be so. So I still wouldn't mind hearing confirmation. But in any event, rooting and disabling the tethering manager seems like a reasonable option, so it probably doesn't make sense to worry too much about it.
Quick newbie question about reception:
I just bought 2 of these phones today and plan on activating them on walmart family mobile in about 10 days (when my sprint contract is up). I borrowed a friend of mine's tmobile phone a week ago and got much better reception than i'm seeing on my new exhibitII phones without the sim in. is it possible that since these phones have both the tmobile and at&t frequencies in them that it is showing signal strength for at&t instead of tmobile towers?
Can anyone comment on Groove IP draining battery any more while it's idle waiting for incoming calls on 3G/4G network?
Anyone think we'll see a Black Friday sale on the E24G?

well, i feel much better now. i put in the tmobile sim card and the signal jumped to 3 bars in my house. i was only getting 1 before i put it in. i guess it was on at&t towers before i put the sim in. this is my first smartphone, but i love it so far.
imo, these phones should show tmobile signal strength right out of the box before you put the sim in. i could see a lot of walmartians thinking the signal is gonna suck and returning the phone before they put the sim card in.

Bummer. I doubt other retailers will have this, at least for a while.
In a deal like this, what kind of benefit does T-Mobile get by limiting this phone (and $30 place) to one solitary dealer? Does Walmart pay them a bunch of money to get the rights to it?

my quadrant benchmark score was 1003.
I have a similar question to this as I plan to purchase this phone this weekend. When I activate and get the $3.34 account credit will this be enough to see a 4G icon appear on the screen? I don't want to pay $30 for a months service if I don't have 4G coverage at my house.
Deleted, as it was way off topic.
