i am new and just want to say thanks for all the help i have gottten from this site and its members, so..........thank you. i have encountered a problem maybe someone can help with. i have a few unlocked motorola phones i bought on e-bay and have been able to use the operator settings on the motorola page to send my phones the at&t settings( cingular) for web, text and mms. i am sure you are familiar with the procedure. drop down box- put in your phone model, dropdown box- put in your carrier, put in your phone number and click 'send my settings'. it worked for a couple phones and now it doesn't even send me the first (of 2) text message with the pin code , saying software is on the way. i called motorola and they said it was their site, but i have a feeling it might be, since i use the same sim card for all my phones, it might be that they don't or won't send different software packages to the same phone number. it's really the web and mms settings i need to install. i was so proud of myself that i learned to do something clever and now i'm dumb again. any help? thanks in adavance.
