    for the Exhibit 2s specs.
The Optimus V, T, etc are great phones for their price range, but if you are willing to go 200.00 go for the Exhibit 2.

I really want the Exhibit 2 now that i've read alot about it, amazing how as soon as I am on the market for a new phone and a new phone company, this arrives.

One quick question, any idea when this "Wal-Mart" exclusive expires? I hear it'll go for $249 at a T-Mobile store.
Im hopping to run in quickly this afternoon or tomorrow to wal-mart and am able to get it :/

No Idea, but I tell everyone I know who is looking for a new phone.
Showed it to my brother, I paid as much for my phone as he did his, but he is under contract through Sprint for 2 years. I think he felt a little screwed.
I keep telling people PAYG is the way to go. Some are finally starting to listen.

PAYG is indeed the way to go. It took me a while to get on the bandwagon but I'm in. I just now pay for what I use/need instead of 60 bucks very month no matter usage.

Bought the phone, as i stated in another topic. Already impressed with it, 10x better than the Optimus
I didnt even realize it came with Adobe Flash already installed (10.3) just checked a tech site with youtube vids embedded on their site, I was able to flawlessly play/pause full screen the video without ever using the youtube app. And the default browser works great, haven't even needed to download Opera.

    Love this phone.

Not the one directly coming from vm.

You can buy the same brand of phone for tmobile called the optimus t. It's at walmart stores for $150 still even though it's been a long while since it came out.

You could probably find something better at that price. Including the exhibit 2.

I'm new to the world of smart phones ....are you saying there would also be a way to do it 'indirectly'? Can it be done using something I've heard called unlocking or rooting?

VM phones (and all phones that use the Sprint network) are predominantly CDMA devices (like Verizon and USCC). T-Mobile uses GSM like AT&T. No compatibility whatsoever. These are the two major camps in the cell phone world, not including newer technologies like HSPA+ and LTE.

Heads up: Last week I got a new Samsung Exhibit II at a T-Mo store for $149.99 and the $60. plan on prepaid! Great phone and screen resolution is awesome. They also had the Exhibit at $99.99 with activation on a $60. plan. Funny thing is that the rep was arguing with me saying that these are not on sale..then her manager politely informed her of the price reduction. She acted like she was doing me a huge favor by selling it at this price...amazing how "customer service" has gone by the wayside. I reminded her that $60. a month X 12 months is $720. a year or $1440. for 24 months to T-Mobiles bottom line...not a insignificant number.

Somewhere I heard that the Exhibit is better than the Exhibit II. Something about the processor, etc. Just saying.

The Optimus T is $180 on T-Mobile's website and the Exhibit II is $200 at most Walmarts. Between these 2 phones, I would go with the Exhibit II.
