    Cheapest Call Forwarding Option

Scenario: 2 cell phones: (1) Personal (2) Work

Need: Want to forward all my calls from my personal line to my work.
Question: What is the cheapest option to do this? Also need to take into account the "days of service" as a part of the cost (ie. pay $15 and balance is good for 30 days, $25=120days, $100=365days)

I've looked at a few plans and the situation seems to be:
    - call forwarding is not included in the plan
    - call forwarding is included, but charged on a pay per use basis (so any calls forwarded would be charged at the per minute rate).
    - call forwarding is included at a $3/mth charge

Any plans that provide unlimited call forwarding at a cheap rate per month?

Aside... it would also be nice to auto-forward SMS messages as well but I haven't found any feasible way to do this.

I've been looking into this for a long time. The short answer is, it can't be done. All prepaid carriers charge per-minute rates for call forwarding.

It's possible I've missed something in my research, but its unlikely to be major.

As far as SMS Goes, rogers is the only one that allows you to forward text messages. (extreme text messaging)

you can use voip for call hunting but then you lose SMS control.

Some solutions promise to so this, like voxox, but they never have Canadian numbers in stock...

If I may tack on here:

What is the cheapest way to get a VoIP phone number with a Halifax number (902)? I need occasional, parallel fwds to two mobile phones (902 Halifax as well) - they need to ring simultanuously! Calls will be short and less than 1/day on average.

    TNX for suggestions!
