8 Years on HoFo

Another year and I celebrate my anniversary with HoFo. I miss the old days with this place but still check in from time to time to see what's up. Still love the place, a lot has changed but it will always have a special spot in my heart as it was one of the first phone forums I ever joined. Cheers to Howard and this place he built.

You summed it pretty well.It'll be 7yrs for me in Sept. I always like coming back to where it all began. But I hate the fact alot of the older postings and Threads have been lost in HoFo's website makeover.

mine was in 12-03-2002 , back then I was looking for instructions on how to change the led colours on my 3390.

searched the google and was pointed to one of howard's article on how to change them.

and it started from there.

it's funny reading some of my old posts, and seeing what we(hofos) talk about back then.

I came here looking for information on customizing a Nextel i1000+. I just wanted some ringtones or something. Never was able to do that, and I stayed so long that I became a Moderator. Love this forum, and it is the single forum that I have been a member of the longest.

You guys have been here for a long time! I just joined today.. except I have been lurking here for many years (As far back as 2004), always browsing and pulling good information from the forums here. It is a great site, except I wish they would improve the design of the site to be more hip and clean, as well as consolidate and organize all the various forums, I think that would breathe some new life into the site. Either way, its a gem.

Wow, so many old friends in this thread. Miss some people and had some great, bad and awful times due to HoFo, but wouldn't have had it any other way. Where does the time go?

I first asked how to change the housing on a Motorola V60 (I think that's the right name...I forget hahaha).
