My company is looking to get a bunch of us onto corporate phones. How does one go about getting on this plan? Would 5 people be enough to qualify?

Hehe, yep. At Telus they define it as:
    100+ = Corporate

The low side of Small and Medium Business is hard to pin down sometimes with Telus.
At times and with some reps it's a minimum of 5 or 6 phones, and others it's anything that is more than 1 if you claim it's for business use.

Anyhow, whatever it is, you can call the SMB department directly at 1-866-988-3587.

The website can be reached from the main Telusmobility.com website by clicking on "Business Solutions" right at the top of the page. EVERYTHING else on the telusmobility website can be considered to be geared to personal accounts. They recently repatriated the business section of the mobility website back to the main telus.com domain which I find interesting. I think they are trending to become more integrated between Mobility and the rest of Telus.

We think everyone should be able to afford a wireless phone. That's why we were the first wireless company in North America to offer pay-by-the-second airtime, and why we don't charge an activation fee. NO scary contract to sign. Immediate national coverage. And a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. Yes, it's finally time to get a wireless phone.

Can you confirm something for me? Is this plan still available for Telus? Also, is the 6GB shareable with a 3G iPad 2 if I pay an additional $10 on top of that? I don't think the Bell version of the plan allow this, but I want to see if Telus allows this.

Is this a 3 year contract and will be there a hardware subsidy on any of Telus' smartphone lineup?

I know it said unlimited NA Long Distance, but what does that mean exactly? So the 1500 min. can be made either locally or long distance? Or does unlimited long distance mean that long distance calls doesn't count against the 1500 min.?

Let's say this line is activated on a 604 area code number (Vancouver and the lower mainland). If I were to go to Vancouver Island (250 area code, Victoria) for work or whatever, will there be any extra costs for using both voice (incoming and outgoing calls regardless of origin and data if I'm on the Telus network?

Thank you so much for the help in advance.

    1. Don't know
    2. Yes, and yes
    3. LD is unlimited, but airtime isn't. Therefore, you will never be charged LD for calling NY, but airtime rules still apply. Would be silly if it was the way you mentioned.
    4. All transmissions are treated as local in Canada as you have unlimited LD

Good to hear ($350 credit). I have arranged credits for others, we always have to call to get it applied after 3 months but it's also always because they are choosing iphones which block it from processing automatically (I am told). Never been a problem though as long as the code was put on the account in the first place they are fine to push it through. I have always seen the "credit" feature code on the account right from day 1 so as long as it's there it's easy to get them to fix it.

Yup. They expired the code and added it for me today. All by email. Account balance is now very negative

    Hey Guys,
Any option to share my 6GB with the new iPad ($10 / $15 addon?). I'm on the $85 Small Biz Promo plan for those that haven't read through the thread.

It seems like the answer is no, except to use the phone as a WiFi hotspot for the Ipad to access.

It's too bad, I'm pretty sure it was a $10 add-on back when I signed up.

    =aw

I thought I read that Loyalty offers it for $15...but I'm not sure if the data on the $85 plan is shareable to begin.

Not interested in doubling the battery drain on the host device.
