Someone verify if this is correct?

    Hey,

Can someone verify if this is correct?

Here’s how the Insider Event deal works:
    $40 Plan example
    Subtract $2/month PAC promo
    Subtract $20/month for 10 months
= works out to be ONLY $18/month for
    the first ten (10) months!
Also what is PAC? I think you have to give them your credit card, I dont mind, but is there any harm in it?

    Its active until Nov 14.

So the above calculations are correct then? I will pay $18/month for 10 months?

    it would be 40 + tax - 20 - 2 =~ 23.2 for the first ten months.

Mostly right, but you will have to pay the full price for the second month. For the first month, if you go to the dealer you apply the credit right off the top so you're first month will include the $20 off before tax + maybe the $2 PAC discount. For the second month however, you will get the $20 in a my wallet payment only after you make a full payment. Once you get the $20 My wallet credit you then have to transfer it to your regular balance where it can then be used for month 3 and then the cycle repeats from there.

I'm in the same plan, but I can't apply the 2OFF. I'm already on PAC, what can I do to get the 2OFF? Thanks.

Anyone already on PAC qualifies for the 2OFF, if you cannot do it yourself, go/call to a local dealer and get it done. The insider promo works like this: $2 off for life and $10 each month for ten months for port in and $10 each month for ten months for trade in....yes the deal is extended till the 14th. You can apply all the credit at activation, but this would only mean that your credit card would be charged the full amount next month as PAC charges your credit card 4 days before the billing date, but the credits are applied on or sometimes after the billing date. So to be a step ahead pay in full at activation and apply credits to the next month and so on.

the 2OFF code is for PAC.. if your on PAC, you should have gotten $2 off already, so therefore it wont work again...

i think a corporate store should be able to do the same thing. It's just a bit unorthodox so they may not do it automatically unless you ask.

I got 2OFF when I first joined with $25BTS, but when the dealer switched me to $200 credit & $40BTS, the 2OFF is gone from my account. I'm told I can try & switch different plans within 30 days without any issue, but the 2OFF can't be applied on my account both my the dealer & me.
