Does LTEOnOff not work on motos?
That's not a widget, it's just a shortcut that takes you to the option in settings. I want a widget that works just like the toggles for GPS, WiFi and BT. BTW, if a shortcut works for you, LTE Switch is free, does the job, but not a widget, just a shortcut.
I am also curious. Why this thread exists inside the Bionic section?
Is there a way to go from 5 Screens to 7 Screens on The Razr? My Droid Pro had just recently updated to Gingerbread and I had 7 Screens....I cant figure out how to do it on the Razr....?
Got mine today...Love it, but the screen is really odd. As others have noticed, the screen has a yellowish tinge to it. In addition, any screen with a white or blue solid background has visible vertical lines throughout the display. This may be a symptom of the pentile display or it could be defective. Anyone else noticing these screen effects?
A phone is only fun when you can modify it anyway you please.
The Verizon UI....unhackable? I think not
That sounds like a defective unit. I have seen greenish on lowest brightness settings, bluish on highest brightness settings on my phone. Never heard about yellowish until your post...lol All we need is red ish to have the primary colors covered.
Yeah, there are clearly streaks on my screen. Entire rows of dim pixels vertically. The average person might not notice, but when spending $299 on a phone, this is not acceptable.
I played with one at the store today. It is indeed thin, but the screen is also huge. Too huge. If I want a screen that big, I'll get a tablet. I think if they made another version of the RAZR with a 4.0" screen instead of the 4.3", it would be perfect.
Well my wife used my upgrade to get the Razr today. And i have been playing with it for a little while and i have to say this phone is great. I really noticed the screen door affect on the bionic and hated it, but the display on this phone looks great. And No her's doesnt have any defects with it, yes it looks a little green view from angles but thats to be expected with amoled screens.
The camera is super fast and takes great pictures so far, havent tested it outside since it late but indoor shots look good.
My wife is coming from and incredible and so far loves this this phone. Shes still getting used to it but surprisingly likes "blur" a lot even though she loved HTC sense. She doesnt think the phones that huge and loves the screen more the her incredible's screen which was also a amoled screen. Call quality is great on it also.
We live just outside of a 4g zone so i cant give any speed results on that but shes going to get to enjoy 4g speeds all day tomorrow.
Definitely a great phone and once it gets ICS update i think it will be better then the G-Nex.

For some (unknown) reason, both the Bionic and Razr have only 5 home screens, which I personally think is pretty stupid on such a high-end device that cost over $600 off-contract.
On the Bionic for the past month I've been using Go Launcher EX that you can get from the Android Market. It is very customizable, and I currently have 9 home screens on the Bionic with it, and it still is really smooth, but after increasing it to 13+ it does slow down.
Reports are coming in that the screen blotches visible on grays and dark colors are pretty common. Unfortunately, certain Samsung models have the same random defects, so I guess it's a matter of finding a display that's acceptable.
If you want to see if your phone exhibits this issue, go into a dark room and power the phone off and on. The blotches are randomly scattered pixels and lines across the screen.
