Motorola DROID RAZR Release Thread

Screen lookes fine on mine, and if the problem is limited to something I only see when turning it on and off in a completely dark room, then I won't care.

But if my battery life doesn't improve, this thing is going back. I am not on my phone a whole lot and am generally using a PC or an iPad for surfing. After very moderate use over this weekend, I was down to 10% both days.

I went to the store and held one and I must say.. it sounds stupid, but I think the extra width between this and my droid x might kill this for me. I think the droid x is as wide as I can comfortable hold a phone... wish they hadn't made it wider.

Quick question for you all:

I have Corporate Sync setup for my Hotmail and Live accounts. The Hotmail one recognizes my folders but doesn't sync any mail. The Live account works as expected. I was wondering if you were limited to one, so I removed the Live account and still no go with the Hotmail account. They use the exact same settings. Anyone else having the same issue?

You can clearly see the RGBW PenTile Matrix used by the Bionic.

Not even close, the RAZR does not have "screen door effect" as the Bionic does. Once reason I didn't jump on the Bionic when it came out.

does anyone know if there is an update coming to fix battery life issues? I love everything about this phone except the battery.

im getting 14 hours of normal use for me that includes some browsing about 2 or 3 hours of talk 15 emails 20 texts 4 g the whole time . what are you getting ??

ok to sum up today i have 2h 8m 6s talk time 1h 49m screen on 2hr music 20 emails 40 min of wifi hotspot umpteen texts some browsing ....... and im at 5% battery . 13h 58m on battery . i have the screen set to auto 1 min time out . 1 gmail that syncs at will and a calender that syncs . no widgets no smart actions enabled i also use a solid black wall paper . I am well satisfied so far !!!

I had my phone fully charged, holstered it, didn't use it for 3 hours, turned it on and saw that I was down to 70% battery. I'd also like to note that GPS, wifi, lte and background sync were all turned off.

My mobile hotspots won't connect to certain sites (yahoo, yahoo mail, Verizon and Howard forums. A hard wire USB tether, I can connect to anything.
Is anyone else having this problem?

I went to the vzw store. I connected mine, a bionic, and a razr on display to an ipad. The bionic was the only one that would open yahoo mail. I called the vzw techs and after alot of research, she said it was an issue that was just listed and they were looking into it.
They had first told me to to replace the sim. And they did. It didn't work. They are thinking it will come in a software update.

has anybody had issues with a static sound coming from the earpiece? when making calls, i started to notice a static noise coming from the headset, almost similar to one of those air ionizers people use in their homes. and for kicks i put my phone up to my ear when not on a call, and i still hear the static sound sometimes! anybody else?
