Is it me or Fido/Rogers, but my speed seems to be really bad. Slow to download anything off 3G. If I use wifi boy does it fly!
Takes forever to bring up a list of servers in speedtest.net app.![]()

Even though Rogers and Fido subscribers use the same towers, do we get a lower priority on the towers? I've been getting more and more frustrated with my Fido service here in Surrey, BC. I get constant dropped calls, and data is painfully slow. In the evenings everything is fine for the most part.
It is hard to hold onto a call in my office where I get full bars. My dad has the same phone (Nexus S) on Rogers and never has a single dropped call. His experience is absolutely perfect.
So I'm thinking that we Fido subscribers are getting the short end of the stick in areas where the network is busy. Can anyone confirm?
