I wrote a much simpler method that gets OTA actvation working, that I posted over at M-F. I'm not 100% sure if it would fly under the new rules here, even though I did leave out the steps regarding the MEID.
PM it to martian and ask.
I've been tempted to get an EVO myself(Still using a Blackberry Tour). Partly because boost is pushing me towards it as my only option and I've wanted an Android device for awhile now. However now its starting to get a little dated and now that I've seen ICS(android 4.0) I decided I don't want anything less so I'd rather wait. I doubt it will be getting an update even though I'd run cynagenmod over a stock rom anyways. I'm also not sure how well that will work or if most people take that route and run cynagen on devices with boost like the EVO, Epic, etc.
^ Speeds under perfect tower(average is 300-800k).
Informational purposes only: The Nexus S has been able to be "Boosted" and I have heard in many circles that it will definitely be getting ICS when it comes out.

I have a evo 3d question
anyone got voicemail indicator working? mine doesnt work.
Run Cyanogenmod or use a patched Phone.apk on the stock Sprint ROM.

^ Evo 3D Patched Phone.apk

^ Evo 4G and Evo Shift Patched Phone.apks + Instructions
The patched APKs are ROM/version specific, so you may have to up or downgrade depending on what you're currently running. Now normally, I'd just offer to make a new version, but I no longer own an Evo 4G or Shift - so I have no way of testing it. If you're running a ROM that none of the patched APKs work on and don't mind being a guinea pig, PM me.
Also, this isn't a Boost specific fix - this enables voicemail notifications on MetroPCS, Cricket and Page Plus too.
i'm running calkulin 1.75 i believe. rooted, if you need more info i can get you all the details :P
edit:
