So you have your 3g speed back, what is your download and upload speed in KBit/s, mine only has 124 down and 102 up. pretty slow compared with other folks here.

I have not tested my speed yet, but I know its back to normal because the web page I always visit (full website) is loading up really good, like before. And youtube videos are playing great again. When I had 3G problems, took forever for full webpage to load and was not able to play youtube videos. How do I test my speed?

sorry i haven't been back. i got tired of dealing with my outdated evo and put it up for sale.

never got my vm indicator working, but i have the same problem on a samsung now.

The one that worked for me is the VM indicator linked to in post 20:

Works like a charm.

I tried but I couldn't install it, if I download from my phone, I open it with zipviewer (or something like that) then I see the apk file, click on it and nothing happens, if I download from my computer, I open my program to unzip and when I try to unzip it, it says something like, blocked directory or whatever

the evo MIUI rom,has voicemail build in to the rom,no additional app to download or patch and has ton of themes that u can download directly from the phone. Note does not support 4g or sense.. and also has good battery life.it rockss

I downloaded apkinstaller and used Androzip for the unzip. Try that and let us know if that worked .

I did it, I installed it but it won't work. I tho it was a different application but its the same I already have in my phone! this app won't notify me when I have a voice mail, the only way to get notified is when I restart my phone

Maybe you want to consider a custom ROM instead of stock? I had trouble getting some video stream apps working with the stock ROM (like Netflix, Live TV, etc.) and they worked great after I upgraded to the OMJ ROM (find on www.ppcgeeks dot com) Maybe the VM notification works for me because of the custom ROM upgrade?

I would like to try a custom rom, but I've been told that there is a chance of loosing my "flash" then I might have to flash my phone again? :/
