^Well what kind of plan do you have? Voice & Data combo plan? If so, the rep is correct.

Unless you are getting additional data discount, it should not be effected.

Ya third time talking with them and they still had no idea what I was talking about. I'll just give it a couple of days before I try again.

    Called this morning
Removed my old 6gb and I changed mine to the bb one and share lte for 10$ works like a charm.
But on my account it just says 6gb share plan and nothing about bis ! But my bis works fine.
    No hassle excellent service

    I'm a n00b, how do I pronounce "soc" in soc code, "sock" or S O C?

Also, if I go about with this, how would I get the LTE sim card? Is it free or will I need to purchase it?

ok so this is my situation... i have the regular 6gb data plan 30$ -10$ dicount on my iphone 4s sharing data via my ipad for 10$ and i have the apn3con so i can use my bb when slap my sim in it. Now all i want is to switch to lte and keep everything intact, how do i do that? I don't wanna lose my 10$ discount and don't wanna lose my bb functionality either...

Somebody already stated that you didn't need a new sim to get lte... A little reading won't hurt my friend!

You don't need to get an LTE sim to get the plan, but if you want LTE speeds on an LTE phone you do need the new sim.

Its pronounce similar to socket with out the saying ket , soc

But you really don't have to say it; just tell them you want the new data code.

As for the lte sim, you will need to by it, however if you currently don't have a lte device, no need to buy it, until you get the unit, that way you are future proof.

Yes the bb data sharing code is compatible with either bb or smart phone, just like the voice and data family plans.
