With the soc code SHSSRA016 for sharing data, is this for sharing between 2 phones? or is this for tethering?
Thanks

Just an update for anyone with Corporate/Business account.
3 weeks back I got the 30$/6GB for regular data. Then I found out this site and started calling to change it.
First 2 were female and didn't have a clue about them (This was at 4:30 and 7:30), and only offered the $70 plan. Today I called and got a male and he got it done for me(11:30). Not to be sexist... every time I call, it seems females are less tech savvy compared to their male counterparts.
I told him that I was online and heard about a promo for LTE, he offered the $70 plan initially but I said I heard there was one for 30$/6GB and he looked into it, then I asked if I could change that to LTE. He said I needed to get an LTE device with an LTE sim to get that but I told him I was thinking about going to the Rogers store to pick one up later on and asked if he could put that on for me now. He said yes and I asked him to check if I could tether with it also, and he said yes, then I asked if I could still use data on my non-LTE device still, he said yes. Wonderful, Great, Happy.
So all in all, I got the 30$/6GB changed from regular data to LTE on a non LTE device and it's able to Tether on a Business/Corporate account. I don't have any discounts for the data so I can't comment if you'll lose anything on them, I did keep my 10 dollar discount on my voice plan, that didn't change.
Hope this helps, you just need to keep calling and see who'll help you I believe.
So I called Rogers Business (Corporate Plan) back this morning. I had a different approach this time. I first asked if my current $30/6GB included LTE. She did a search and said no and started telling me that I needed a LTE plan, phone and sim card. So I said I saw an offer online and asked if she can look up the SOC code, DSPSRA0JG, for me and tell me what it offers. She gladly did and I asked whether if I can have this applied to my corporate account. She said yes. Now I am LTE ready also. But now I have to call them back to ask whether if I still can tether. chapman_w said in Post #96 that tethering is allowed but Rogers informed one of my colleagues right now that tethering is not included. I better call and get confirmation. Anyone following this thread can tell us confidently if tethering is really included in this new offer or not? Thanks.
EDIT 1: I just called again. A CSR said the new plan does not show that it includes tethering in the description but she confirmed there is tethering! I guess I won't know how accurate she is until my next bill!
EDIT 2: I had to call Rogers again. They extended my data contract to 2014 (3 years). I called now and they said this should not have happened and reverted it back to 2013. So now I am all set up with this LTE plan.

I had the same concerns as above post about tethering, and was told by the person doing then switch and the person I spoke to when my confirmation email didn't say so. The both said it was included at no charge.
Spent a while on the phone with a very helpful CSR, applied the SHSSRA016 and SHSSRA013 after the manager did some overriding; confirmed these plans have hotspot included and is tethering compatible. Data contract should not extend, they adjusted it back for me.
Got LTE sim and plan changed and I'm good to go. Fun fact, I changed my sim at future shop in coquitlam (coquitlam center) which doesnt have LTE coverage on the map. Turns out it had coverage and I'm also getting LTE at my home which also shows that I'm not in the LTE blanket. Maybe they need to update the maps ;D
Just wanted to give heads up for people who upgraded from their old existing 6gb data plan to 6gb data plan with LTE...unless you spell it out for reps - don't extend the data contract on the line (keep it on same data term),..it's automatic 3 year data renewal with $11 commission going to the rep when they put new 6 gb on the account...so its in the best interest for rogers/their reps to get you on 3 year data contract if you are upgrading one 6gb to another..just make sure guys...!!
Ah, no wonder so many times a cx gets their CP renewed yet isn't informed of this by the rep. Scummy - a compensation package that rewards reps who withhold this info from the cx.
jal, kind of you to give the warning!
If anyone gets stung by this then this page tells you what your rights are and how to enforce them, to undo the 3-yr CP renewal:

Just got off the phone with Rogers. I was told that SHSSRA016 and DSPSRA0JG are not LTE plans, and that there is no 6gb/$30 plan for LTE devices.
