You can remove it within 15 days without having to give notice. If you purchase your own sim card and call in to activate it, you can just call and cancel under the buyer's remorse policy. If you activate it with a store or dealer you need to go back to the dealer to cancel under the remorse policy.

After 15 days of the activation, you have to provide 30 days notice to remove it.

Currently using a BB9800, looking to pickup the Lumia 900 MTM for $475.

Currently have 200min + early eve and weekends + Msgs value pack + $5 500 CDN LD + $30/6GB BB service

From reading the last month or so of posts, I am SOL on trying to get $30/6GB LTE?? I am not looking for the sharing option, just the straight up data plan with tethering included (which I already have now).

Anyone had any success upgrading from $30/6GB Non-LTE to $30/6GB LTE recently?

Well what I am saying and hoping this works is, if you add the $10 sharing plan to your existing 6gb plan, it makes it LTE plan right? And i was thinking if you remove the $10 sharing plan, it will stay as an LTE data plan

My data plan was converted this past Dec. The process at the Rogers store in RBC Plaza took only a few minutes.

I'm on a normal consumer plan and I had 500mb LTE data, after complaining that it was not enough on twitter they gave me 6gb shared LTE plan $30 but I had to go on a 3 year contract (only $12.50 cancellation fees so I don't mind).

I sorta did, just this week without a 3 year contract.

I ordered a mobile LTE hotspot ... a battery powered router .... the brand new Sierra Wireless Aircard 763S with 100Mbps LTE capability on Rogers and 11n WiFi.

I am able to use LTE on it with a separate SIM card and a $10/month Internet Sharing plan (month-by-month) that shares off my existing $30/6GB 3G BlackBerry plan that's contract-expired. LTE apparently works great, I'm very happy with my mobile hotspot, and it cost me only $10/month each extra for Internet-sharing SIM cards that shares off the same $30/6GB.

They all work in wifi hotspots, Internet sticks, Android devices, and whatever devices I'd like to run LTE off my old 3G $30/6GB plan (which still remains BlackBerry activated, for when I roam, since it's cheaper to roam with a BlackBerry)

Eventually, due to increased data consumption, methinks, I'll eventually ugprade to a $50/10GB plan (if I can still add APN3CON to it, somehow, for BlackBerry use). That may lock me into a contract, but these $10 SIM cards are pretty irresistible for all the non-phone gadgets we now get to choose between (tablets, Internet sticks, mobile hotspots, etc), so it'll probably keep me on Rogers for longer.

Eventually I'll convert all SIM cards to LTE, but as long as I can still use LTE data (via Internet sharing) off the same non-LTE plan, I'm good. In fact, I can connect my 3G cellphones over WiFi over my LTE hotspot, to get advantage of LTE speeds on 3G cellphones!
    Thanks,

    Hi Everyone,

It is possible to go from a regular 6GB plan to a 6GB LTE plan. All I did was take some advice from some users on these forums. I registered for Twitter and posted a tweet on @RogersHelps. It was actually quite easy from their on out. No hassle or anything, much easier then calling in and fighting with retentions. They are all so nice as well.

The only thing I was concerned with was if my data discount would stay on or not. I told him I needed it to stay. He said he couldnt guarantee me if he changed the plan it would stay. Then he said he couldnt put it back on if it did fall off. I said get it done! Not to minutes later he came back and said changed discount stayed .

    Good luck

just talked to Andrew on twitter and he successfully switched my 6gb 3g data for $30 to the LTE 6gb for $30. He says that the new plan will still work for 3g only devices connecting to 3g data.

I'm wondering, if I want to get an extra sim card to share my data to another device now that I am on the sharing plan, how do I go about it? Your guys input is always appreciated.

They did it for me on Saturday..I called in since my trial $5 flex plan for the ipad was expiring, and they offered to have it share with my 6GB data plan. On top of that, I got them to confirm that it will cost me nothing extra to share ($10 -$10 credit)
