Can I get a clarification on this 6gb LTE.
If I switch to the 6gb LTE "Data Share Plan", will my mobile hot spot/tethering still work (specifically sharing data from phone to ipad by connecting the WIFI iPad to the Wifi outgoing transmission from the phone)
The rogers reps keep giving me the run around and I want to know before committing to a new phone and term.
Thanks, I got it today calling my Business Rogers Account manager.
i got it too but the rep said it will renew my data contract for another 3 years
What are you guys asking for when you get this? I called in twice, and each time, was told that the offer was not available. Do you already have the 6Gb plan for 3g, and just bump it to LTE, or are you getting a new data plan? I want this, for TuneIn radio on my phone, but I can't use it as much as I want with just 1Gig of data.
In my case, i had only 1.5GB and when i called (business plan csr), i just told the guy that i wanted the new 6Gb for 30$ that is new, and i choosed the shared plan and add my ipad to it. He did it without any problem, i even asked for how long the plan was available and he said couple of weeks already
My brother started a new plan with Rogers yesterday. They put him on a business plan with an insane amount of minutes and 6GB of non-LTE data. He called to ask for LTE and they told him that he'd have to switch to a $60 6GB plan as the current 6gb plan doesn't have LTE.
Called today, asked to have my 6 GB Non-LTE to be replaced by LTE one because I changed my phone to One X. Got put on hold for 2 minutes, said it was done. Replaced my sim card to a LTE one and voila, now I have LTE speed.
All done on my first call, did not know FCR was possible with Rogers.
I just switched right now too. They told me nothing would change except instead of 4g I would have LTE.

So the new code is SHSSRA01I?
I currently have the regular 500mb data add-on without sharing (because I only have this one line) and use it on Galaxy Note, can I call in to get this deal? Does that data sharing plan work on Android phones?

I don't get it. I've called CR and msg'd @RogersHelps and apparently it's not available? This type of inconsistency is really just stupid and absurd.
Why not go for the $52.00 10gig LTE plan? Still $5.00 per gig...
