I'd say it's a good year to two before all of Wind's Android phones are on ICS. After that, maybe Wind will do it. On the other hand, if the Big 3 all offer VV/M with their Android handsets, Wind might be compelled to move faster.

Only catch is that the carrier has to use it to make the app. What are the odds Wind does it?
I'm gonna go with slim to none

somehow related to the topic -- does anyone know when nexus s will get the update for ICS? Usually how long after launch Google push the updates?

The Nexus S is definitely getting the update. The Nexus One is the one that won't be getting it (officially).
No one knows when it will come but it wont be until the galaxy nexus launches in the USA at the least. About a week or two ago google said they are working on getting it out for the nexus S "in the coming weeks".
Every BlackBerry that Wind has ever sold supports vvm and they have not implemented it, so I'll say the chances are close to zero.
Yea Im kind of peeved they dont support VVM as it would be very useful, hopefully sometime in the distant future.

Another Idea for Wind would be work with Google to have Carrier Billing incorporated into the market. (Pay for apps, movies, books, or music using your wind account)
