    xperia active but which carrier?

I'd like to get an Xperia Active as it is smaller and seemingly durable. Right now I have tmobile but without a contract. I like tmobile and they have a good price on their data plans but I understand the Active will not be able to access their high speed network.

So which carrier will allow an unlocked Active and has an unlimited plan (or 2 Gb data) for less than $60/month?

    Is this possible?

Straight Talk... or Simple Mobile if you can live with edge. Realize that your post is about 3 months old... Have you figured anything else out? I'm thinking of getting the active and going with straight talk. Ant+ !

I could not find a good carrier for the Activa. THe problem was either the price of the plan or the network was different than what the phone wanted.

I ended up getting an iPhone with the Lifeproof case which is waterproof, dustproof etc. The other dustproof phones were kind of big. The lifeproof case has worked out very well. I've even used my phone in the shower and it has protected the phone from dust and scratches. I'm in the building trades so there is a lot of abuse.

For the plan it worked out that going on a my brother's family plan with ATT had a comparable cost to the TMobile plans. The one saving grace was that if you add on Unlimited texts it gives you unlimited minutes to call Any other mobile phone.

The whole thing was very complicated to sort out. I'm convinced complication helps the mobile providers.

How come under my name in the previous post it says "My Mom bought me this phone"? I did not write that and it is not true. My Mom died years ago.
