I know that a chatr sim card (cut into a microsim) works on an Apple-factory-unlocked iPhone 4S (i know this because my brother and I both did this), but...
Does a chatr (microsim card) work (calling and sms texting) on a Rogers-locked iPhone 4S?
Not important: mms, data.
Tell me if you know the answer from theory or experience.

Yes I am doing it as we speak. I got a sim cutter from a co-worker and cut my sims but had the dreaded 3194 error and no matter what I tried it would not work.. so off to the apple store and there I was asked to put my sim in to activate and the bloke saw it was a cut sim and said we can give you a replacement sim free sir, say that again I said.. so he did. I said a chatr one? he said no a rogers one.. then call in and activate it. so far so good. call quality perfect, sms quick.. no issues.

No I am saying IF you get a rogers micro sim you can call in and have it activated. What I did do was cut my chatr sim so I could use it on the iphone 4 upon seeing that the employee said i could just ask them for a micro sim for rogers, I said oh I wanted to use it on chatr and he said you can, call in and they will activate the sim. Some on here have verified that it does work.
