Can i use a tracfone that i found?

I just found a tracfone. There is no service days left. It is deactivated. Is there anyway of using the phone if i dont have the previous users tracfone account? Because i think they have to remove the phone from there account for me to reactivate it to mine.

Get a 60 Minute card and see how it works.

You can do that, and chances are that it will work, but unless they've removed the phone from their account, you won't be able to change anything on it on the website, or transfer phones to another phone. I'd just toss it or donate it to charity(there are plenty that will take it for a variety of reasons) and buy one new. They're cheap enough now.

You can get a LG 500G, a Blackberry clone phone for $20 at Dollar General on sale, activate it with a 60 minute card, and get 120 minutes because it's a Double Minutes For Life phone.

Or, you can buy the card anyway and try it, just add the airtime right onto the phone. If it's been too long, it won't work, and it will take hours with Customer Service to activate because the phone number rolled over to someone else.

You're money ahead to just toss that loser in the nearest trash can and start fresh with no hassles. For less than $100 a year, you can buy a new phone every 6 months and toss them, likely what the last user did. Not everyone wants to carry over the number.

Just add time and use it. You might meet some nice new people this way.

    OR

It was used in a crime and the poleese will come and get you. Then that story about "finding" a phone might have issues.
