My service is just fine. I can open webpages pretty quickly and stream music. I don't watch movies and I don't watch very many YouTube videos. To be honest I don't need super fast speeds I just want my phone to have a decent signal inside buildings. I can't wait until sprint starts using its 800mhz spectrum.
I noticed today they got a 3rd EVDO channel running downtown now, so I'm able to get this speed during the day. It's not in the 2+ Mbit club, but this is a whole lot better than what we've had for the past year and a half.
Noticed today as well that things were better. Been a long time coming. Hope they have the backhaul to fill those 3 channels otherwise its all for not.

When I looked at the DEBUG screen after I made my post, I noticed only the tower at I-110 and Choctaw had the 3rd channel added (Channel 175). That particular site has been horrific for a long time. The Sprint network upgrade page shows the downtown tower was upgraded with another capacity upgrade but I wasn't able to see the 3rd channel yet. They may still be tweaking some things. Either way, this is good news.

That site has always needed help as it covers part of downtown as well...probably the state capitol depending on what part of the building you are on.
Where I am at I hit off the major downtwon tower. Getting 130 kilobit downloads this morning. Hope they are not done with it.

Was able to check out their work on that tower today... speeds were between 150 to 250 kilobit. Guess it is better than 50. Wish would we see these 2 megabit downloads on tower upgrades around here like other areas are seeing.
Still not showing much improvment here. But thusday afternoon I hit 2Mb/s in one area. Just not sure if that was a fluke or the tower in that area has been worked on. Everywhere else I am still lucky to see speeds in the 150kbps range.
Got this speed in Austin, TX this afternoon. Generally I find the Sprint service in Austin to be more than adequate for web browsing, streaming music or watching YouTube videos.
Anyone in the SE part of Florida have any good results?
I'll be in the Hollywood area for a few weeks and was curious.
I have personally experienced GREATLY improved speeds and coverage in the Miami area...mainly outside at home in Miami Lakes..Coral Gables..Downtown Miami, and pretty much everywhere in Miami.....web browsing speeds used to be slower but now they are wi-fi like and it's great
Can't really do speed tests since I have a Blackberry but the difference is indeed very noticeable.
