Anyone tried the Incipio Case from FutureShop? http://www.futureshop.ca/en-CA/produ...94cfa5f9e0en02

I'm still waiting DX to get some cases and batteries for this phone, purchased some for my Galaxy S Fascinate and they worked flawlessly, but 6 weeks for shipping sucks.

I also purchased this http://www.breffo.com/2011/11/spiderpodium-white/ . Its big enough to hold the phone easily without obstructing it at all, and I just push the extra legs back into the vents in my car dash and it holds it there nicely for GPS use.

What are your impressions of it? Thanks.
I don't have it but I had one for my international galaxy s2.

Yes it has a lip to cover the top

The stock picture of the barely there case shows the top and bottom being exposed:
    http://www.case123.com/Case-mate-Bar...pc001bk_cm.htm

Which is the same as the Infuse case and the Barely There brush aluminum series (international s2). Hmmm.

I cut the connection on the S-Line case so the microphone is exposed. So far the case isn't splitting but we'll have to see (have to remove it to use the Samsung docking station from Santa).

This unrelated case on Amazon.com B005YEFM8M seems to have a similar problem (see 1* reviews and this note
12/13/11: We are now shipping the new revision 2 model that has fixed bottom mic hole positioning!
and I wonder if someone (Samsung maybe) published specs with a different positioning for the mic.

Still haven't received the silicone case from the other eBay vendor but did get a second TPU case. Don't know if the TPU vendor sent two by mistake, or if the silicone vendor sent TPU by mistake.

    Not bad for $3 anyway.

Anyone use a Blueant Q2 with this phone? Are there still BT issues with it? (not reading texts, phonebook doesn't transfer, etc...)

You can also hit up t-mobile if you are cross-border shopping. Their SGS2 is the same variant as Telus. I bought a D3O case down there and it fits perfect and does well for my habit of dropping phones LOL.

Anyone found a car mount that works well? One that can handle the phone in a case.

There's a replacement battery for the i9100 on www.meritline.com for $8 shipped today (search for 0002097-001). The bundled battery cover probably wouldn't fit our phone, but would the battery?

    Thanks!

I wouldn't put that battery in my phone even if it fit.

What if it didn't fit but you could trim it down? [joke]

Really you mean because it's off-brand and only $8?

I've had some bad experience with "Made in China" aftermarket batteries.
Heat issues, charge issues, exploding/leaking issues.
No warranty if it breaks and destroys your $500+ phone.

Not unless that battery's terminals were the same.

Bought a made in China cellphone battery while I was in China, a few months ago. It was for my ol' Touch Pro 2. No problems at all, except now I had a T-989D.

    Check here for batteries.

Hold on there, some reports of this battery is not as good as it might seem.
