Is the SH 11C a good starting phone?

Hi, I'm trying to buy ketai and I was just wondering if the SH 11C would be a good starting phone?

I'm open to all suggestions and I would also like to ask if anyone knows some vendors to by from.

Right now ebay is all I have...

    Thank you ><!!!!

It's only got 850, and Bell HSPA runs on 1900 as well as 850. Make sure you've got good 850 coverage before you buy it.

If you're based in BC, you can try other places like CanadaJPhone as well as another rather famous vendor somewhere in Richmond (I forgot). You can also hit up some shops in Crystal/Aberdeen mall.

If you're in Toronto, then you can try Pacific Centre or look up on RFD/Kijiji (or whatever they call it out there). You can most likely find better deals than eBay - they're usually a ripoff for keitai-related things.

As for SH-11C itself, since it doesn't have the CPR issues and offers the keitai experience, it's a good place to start.

Check out your local craigslist too. Not an awful lot of keitais on there usually but it's worth a shot, you just might find a bargain.

Make sure it's unlocked - starting from summer collection 2011, DoCoMo phones can be unlocked which means no hypersim, which as far as I'm aware means no CPR issues...

If it's soft/'factory' unlocked you should have no issues.

I checked with Joe from CanadaJphones, he said that it was soft unlocked!!
I feel so relieved I don't have to deal with the hyper sims...

I just hope the SH10C will work on the bell network and is compatible with the sim card!

by the way, thank you all for the tips!!!
I really appreciate the help and I can't wait to get my first ketai!!!

I got a SH 10C in the end, but both phones should be able to work with the Bell network. SH 11C does not have a wifi, but the SH 10C does!
