    Greetings.

Please read the whole thread before further comment. How specifically one can quantify the proportion of the "issue"? Also, check with someone at Ericsson for their comments
An appalling response. Please try to be less arrogant and rude.

I had read the entire thread, and have been assistingRogers with diagnosing the LTE/HSPA issues with the GSII LTE. I was replying to Radioman66, who first quantified the problem as a "100%" network issue. It was mainly a network issue, albeit one that did not manifest on the HTC Raider which I tested (in other words, not entirely a network issue.) Further, the behaviour of the GSII LTE switching data to 4G while in a voice call is incorrect. The phone should be able to communicate on both networks simultaneously, and holding LTE for data while handling voice calls. There is a fix to the phone software being worked on by Samsung, which can be verified with them directly. I've been in touch with them... have you?

In addition, there are still isolated cells where having LTE data enabled on the phone results in no data...

    TrueContext,

Radioman66 has already done what had recommended as a subscriber could, including eliminate the possibilities with multiple hardware i.e. combo in different handsets and UICCs. So it is strange for me to see you have to mention it one more round even he/she had already tried the specific "best advice". It contradicts with your claim that you have digested this thread thoroughly.

I have been in touch with Ericsson, have you? All I am saying, issues like this cannot be quantified with a definitive figure and all involved entities are like dropping the ball on subscribers.

    Wirelezz,

    How is your Christmas weekend?

LTE, as in the current form, is nothing more than niche item if not a marketing hype. And, thank you for sharing your real world observations with another device from another manufacturer.

    Warning to all:

Do not go with Rogers if you are considering a new phone or upgrading your hardware. I have wasted too many hours of my life over the past week dealing with Rogers. The network is highly unreliable - both 4G and LTE. I have been lied to on numerous occasions, and been told several broken promises. The latest broken promise was that of free visual voicemail, which they have now reneged on, despite me having a record of the offer.

Save yourself time and money and avoid Rogers at all costs.
