Definitely gonna try this on my Nexus S! Thanks for the headsup!
Would like to try it on my Sharp phone but I guess I'd need root and some custom recovery.. rather keep my Sharp SH-13C functional than try that though lol

hey guys, i came back from hell (literally...) and this time i bring you some nice stuff for you to play around (yamanote you could probably try this on your EVO)
What is it exactly? is a ported version of the KDDI iida Infobar A01 interface, the "launcher works so far on 480*800 resolution (i don't have a bigger display so i can't confirm it works on qHD). this is how it looks.
this was my old setup haha.
if your android device is rooted then you can simply install the launcher via clockworkmod recovery or just unzip the files and push the apks to the \system\app path.
Thanks to Nathan2011@XDA for porting this, i only fixed some things at my convenience and fixed some things related with resolution.
download from here iida HOME
MAKE SURE YOU DO A BACKUP BEFORE INSTALLING, remember you are doing this at your own risk. NeuroticallyYou can't be blamed for whatever happens to your phone.
WHATS INCLUDED:
iida home
iida gallery (it replaces gallery 3d stock)
iida clock
iida calendar
iida notes
iida rss
iida contacts
iido phone
Applications like Facebook check can't be included as the damn auone market doesn't let me install the apps on my phone so the only way to get it is if someone with an AU account download the app, same with the journey live wallpaper, task cleaner; The twitcheck apk does not deodex correctly so i have to look on that and the weather app is not included either as it only displays weather in Japan only.
NOTE!!
If you are running a sense rom like virtuous or htc sense then you would not be able to use this launcher, sorry no support for sense at this time.
alrighty now that it's available for download give it a try and comment. hate it? love it?
Definitely gonna try this on my Nexus S! Thanks for the headsup!

There's an app called SHBreak that claims to be able to root the SH-13C, though when I tried it all it did was kill my ability to connect to WiFi networks without a static IP. Sure, the app also included a utility to fix it, but it's annoying all the same.
Aah, sold my Evo a few weeks ago for an iPhone!
Will try this out on my Galaxy S II though, and maybe a device with a 720p display if I get my grubby hands on a Galaxy Note or Nexus.
Awesome how you/Nathan@xda got it work though!

Flashed it to my stock+rooted Nexus S (Android 2.3.6), rebooted, chose the iida launcher as default, and was greeted with what you see in the screenshot.. No app launcher, just empty tiles which I can long-press to choose a widget or wallpaper. Can hit the menu and get my usual menu that I get under the default launcher. Can scroll up and down, but there's no tiles, nothing..

oh.. is that a bug or is that how it's intended to be, ie one screen with widgets, one with all the tiles? I remember trying to slide my finger (to change homescreen as under the stock launcher), but can't remember which way I slid haha (uh.. that's what she said?)
I restored my backup, but I'll try again later (not home now, no Nexus S with me believe it or not!)
thanks for the tip![]()
Very cool stuff, NeuroticallyYou. Any idea if this runs on an Android 2.2 phone? I remember finding this launcher up on XDA a few months back and it seems that the one posted there was not compatible with 2.2. I'll try and push those apks to my phone when I get the chance though.
i couldn't tell as my device was 2.3.4, at the moment i don t have a test device but it shouldn't be difficult to port it to 2.2, give it a try as the apps are deodexed so there shouldn't be any probem running on 2.2. or any error with dependencies.
let me know if it works.
