HAHA pathetic! ''premium'' brand but you get the same bad customer service for a premium price, there is absolutely no reason to switch unless you require more data.

Received a call today from a sales rep today telling me the benefits of Fido and Rogers as their premium brand. I Was told how chatr is their value brand. Tried to convince me that a $70 month plan on rogers/fido would be more beneficial for my needs. Rarely do I ever hit 100mb a month, this month with a new Nexus S I hit 135 MB. So $3.50 in data overage and I'm told that this plan no longer suits my needs. My usual usage is 800+ minutes and several hundred texts, under a 100mb a month. Must be Rogers attempt to push heavy users/less profitable customers into a more profitable situation. Rep could not put a similar plan together on either brand.

Wow, good to know the separation between Chatr and Rogers/Fido didn't last too long.
Rogers:
Unlimited Canada-wide calling, 2500 sent SMS - $35; 6GB Data - $30 less $10; Call Fwd/xfr - N/C; Local UMA - N/C; Value Pak - $10
Moblicity:
$23 BTS
I'm a Rogers customer and I got a rep trying to push me to change my plan, then as soon he sees my plan "oh.. I'm not going to bother you any longer, you have a better plan than I do"
Man gets hit by Brick Phone! Ouch!
Chat-r is in business because Rogers is trying to counter the start up companies like Wind and Mobilicity. Everyone should know that Chat-r is Rogers and Chat-r will only be around as much as Mobilicity/Wind are. Once and if they were able to push them out to the side, Chat-r will disappear and you will be forced back onto your mafia like 3-year contract like the olden days. No surprise they referred you to Rogers.
